The T.I.A.M.A.T (T-Omega Virus Infected Atomic Metamorphic Armoured Tyrant)
The most terrifying and deadly creature to ever be created by the T-virus or any of its derivatives. The TIAMAT was the pinnacle of virus produced bio-weapon research.
A deranged Umbrella scientist, Professor James Tyron, stole a sample of the T-virus after his termination from the Umbrella Corporation 4 months after the Arklay Incident. In a second facility in the Arklay Mountains, Tyron mixed the T-virus with mutated strains of the G-virus and other viruses, including natural ones like ebola and the bubonic plague as well as engineered ones like the Progenitor and the T-Veronica virus. After perfecting the virus, he tested it on himself, transforming into a horrid, “Mutation”.
When the STARS team was sent into the second facility, the Tyron Mutation escaped before it exploded. Upon arriving in Raccoon City, the Mutation killed all in the immediate area and disappeared into the background.
When Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine were forced to return to Raccoon City for a court case, Jill had an unfortunate run-in with the Mutation in an abandoned Umbrella Factory. She quickly fled the scene, returning later with a reluctant Chris in tow. The Mutation returned and attempted to kill Chris and Jill. During the struggle, Jill kicked the Mutation in to a pile of mysterious boxes, labeled with only a single “O”. The Mutation writhed in pain and died.
However, Jill did not kill the Mutation. She kicked it into crates containing the dangerously powerful and highly experimental T-Omega virus, transforming the Mutation into the TIAMAT. When Chris, Jill and Barry Burton delved into a hidden Umbrella Base in Raccoon City, the TIAMAT followed. The TIAMAT encountered Chris and Jill once again in the darkness of the base, chasing them onto an elevated pipe system. In a struggle on the pipes, the TIAMAT bit Chris, but he got away before the TIAMAT could finish him. Making the important discovery that the TIAMAT seemed hardly effected by bullets.
When Chris challenged his infected and deranged brother Kenneth to a battle outside the base, he received his death wounds. However, each time he was struck dead, he would rise again. This strange ability allowed him to kill Kenneth and escape the base.
Not knowing the fate of Jill, Chris raced back to her house. Not finding her there, he worried that she’d return to the facility to look for him. He was attacked by an Umbrella Special Ops officer who turned out to be a zombie, or, as it would come to be known, a Ganado. He revealed to Chris that he was infected with the TIAMAT virus, and that the TIAMAT could keep Chris alive with a biological connection that the infection caused when he was bit at the pipes. Chris was immortal unless the TIAMAT wanted him dead. Chris was also told that he, surviving the TIAMAT on the pipes, caused the creature to want to kill him personally. The TIAMAT would hunt him, no matter where he went.
Now, the TIAMAT continues to hunt Chris. During this time it has fed of numerable virus samples and other viral matter, causing it to transform into the deadly Plague Chimera.
